We deliver turnkey off grid climate-controlled storage containers for individual use or for use in one of our rental programs.
For example, the average cost for a 40 x 8 x 8.5 climate controlled solar storage container is currently $58,000. Containers enrolled in our rental program are eligible for special financing at 3.9% with a down payment of $18,000. The remainder of the balance, insurance and management fees are paid through future recurring rental income.
The Incentive Tax Credit (ITC) in the example above is approximately $25,000 which represents fifty percent of the solar and energy storage investment of $50,000. (The ITC is the base 30% of the solar and energy storage investment, plus 10% for qualified American made products plus 10% for deployment in a low-income community. The storage container itself and the climate controlling unit are not eligible for the ITC credit.)
Investors are further able to depreciate a portion the cost of the investment which in some cases will generate additional tax benefits.
